Coffee Break Cafe in Hampden

Had lunch here and it was Great . Good service , Good food and reasonably priced

Well the toast and coffee was good. Would not go out of my way to visit this place again. Aging population+low birth rates = bland food and short term memory loss, eggs were over cooked and not seasoned, hash was bland and the waitress forgot my homefries. If you like listening to the banter of older women planning their gardens for the spring, then this is the place for you.

Great food at stupid reasonable prices. If you like comfort food this is your place. The pumpkin pie was the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Super hot coffee as well. Love this place.

They are open from 7 to 12 breakfast and lunch very good. Will go back again. I had the breakfast, homemade hash, hash potatoes well scrambled eggs

I'd love to give this breakfast spot a high rating and say that it was worth waiting in line for an hour, but it was just good - not great. We did enjoy our meal but the service (after finally being seated) was very slow. We are accustomed to eggs and pancakes coming out pretty quick. It took another 40ish minutes after being seated. I can only guess that they need a larger kitchen.

The place o started going to because the rise n shine on Verona island don't need my business. Better biscuits and gravy anyways.

The best breakfast food in Maine! Light fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh baked bread with handmade jam. Even the coffee is fabulous! Worth the wait. Dont pass this food by.

Food quality is sad, eggs tasted like powder eggs, ham was from a can. Muffins are good though. And waitress was sweet.

Worst corned beef ever. Great toast with homemade jam.

Delicious, homestyle breakfast. They make their own bread and jam and it is tasty. The place is always packed on the weekends but it doesn't usually take long for seats or the counter to open up. A "townie" favorite for sure.

Only wish this place was bigger inside and had more parking! They are fantastic!!! Food is DELICIOUS, server was very polite, prices are great. Going to have to try some of the treats up front by the register next time too (=

Cute decorations. We went this morning for breakfast, both of our Benedicts were delightful. Highly recommend the hash, nice and salty. Only addition I needed was pepper! We'll definately be back, you cant go wrong with old school advertising placemats, word search!

Good food, low prices, great staff, homemade bread and pastries, hole-in-a-wall feel, busy most of the time (but tables turned quickly), right in downtown Hampden, cash and credit accepted (touchpay, too!).
